University Church Planning Studies, Los Angeles, California
The University Church adjacent to the University of Southern California has an empty portion of their lot facing West Adams Boulevard in the heart of the University district. The Church wished to study options for the site for joint development with the University or other interested developers. We studied land use restrictions, environmental review issues, height and setback restrictions, massing alternates as well as explored alternate development strategies for public and private use including housing. The Church is in ongoing negotiations with USC for use and development of the property.
